INGREDIENTS:

  • 1-2 cups chicken
  • 3 Tbsp grassfed butter
  • 3 Tbsp flour or arrowroot
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cups bone broth
  • 2 cups whole milk, heavy cream, or coconut milk
  • 1 cup wild rice
  • sea salt (or garlic salt!) and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cook wild rice on stove in 2 cups of boiling water, or in an instant pot.
  2. Cook chicken (in instant pot, or however you’d like to make it shreddable)
  3. Chop celery, onion, mushrooms, and garlic then saute in butter.
  4. Add flour to celery, onion, mushrooms, and garlic, and butter.
  5. Add all ingredients to one pot and heat. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Note: Can add other veggies like carrots, peas, etc. as well. We added peas and loved it.
