INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound raw, peeled and de-veined shrimp, frozen
  • 2 Tablespoons of Homemade Italian Seasoning (recipe below), or 2/3 of  an Italian seasoning packet
  • 4 Tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 lemon, sliced

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine the shrimp, butter, seasoning and lemon on a 9×13 pan.
  2. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes, or until shrimp is no longer great, and is now pink.

Notes: there will be a lot of seasoned butter in the pan with the shrimp. Dip crusty bread into the drippings, or spoon shrimp and butter sauce over cooked pasta. I would probably add more butter/seasoning if using as a pasta sauce.

Homemade Italian Seasoning:

  • 2 Tablespoons onion powder
  • 2 Tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 Tablespoons salt
  • 2 Tablespoons oregano
  • 2 Tablespoons basil
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 2 Tablespoons parsley
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
