
INGREDIENTS:
- 1-2 cups chicken
- 3 Tbsp grassfed butter
- 3 Tbsp flour or arrowroot
- 1/2 cup celery
- 1/2 cup onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups bone broth
- 2 cups whole milk, heavy cream, or coconut milk
- 1 cup wild rice
- sea salt (or garlic salt!) and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
- Cook wild rice on stove in 2 cups of boiling water, or in an instant pot.
- Cook chicken (in instant pot, or however you’d like to make it shreddable)
- Chop celery, onion, mushrooms, and garlic then saute in butter.
- Add flour to celery, onion, mushrooms, and garlic, and butter.
- Add all ingredients to one pot and heat. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Note: Can add other veggies like carrots, peas, etc. as well. We added peas and loved it.
