
Serves 6-8
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 T honey
- 1 T mustard, dijon or whole grain mustard
- 1 T rice vinegar
- 1 T avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- pepper to taste
- 2 T sliced/slivered almonds, optional
DIRECTIONS:
- Add green beans to a baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients to a bowl. Mix.
- Pour sauce over green beans and toss them together evenly.
- Roast at 425, uncovered for 10 minutes. Then add the slivered almonds and roast for another 5-10 minutes or until green beans are tender-crisp. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
